In the calculation of machine elements and mechanisms, which are design elements in machine design, stresses, strains and operating frequencies must be within safe zones. Different calculation methods and different hypotheses are used in the calculation of these three cases, and by this means, the shaping and control calculations of the elements are carried out. With a similar approach, this book includes theoretical explanations used in calculations and sample problem solutions with these explanations. In this first volume of the book, which was organized in two volumes, the calculations of general strength calculations, connecting parts and motion transmission (transmission) parts, subject explanations, tables and factors used in problem solving, and sample problems were tried to be provided one after the other, and it was tried to provide integrity, especially different approaches in subject expression, Different indices and units were used and their applications were made in problem solving.
