When we consider that traumas as old as human history first took place in the Epic of Gilgamesh, and that traumatic symptoms seen in soldiers are mentioned in the works of Homer, it is clear that traumatic events and their consequences are phenomena that constantly evolve. This book aims to reveal this disorder, whose scientific information is constantly changing due to its dynamic structure and obscurity, within the framework of the latest scientific data we have. The book explains in detail the history of post-traumatic stress disorder, clinical diagnosis conditions, the dialectical structure and biochemistry of trauma, and introduces approaches that will enable victims to control and manage and reduce this disorder and its symptoms. Another feature of the book is that it contains the necessary question lists, questionnaires and individual tables so that the information given in it can be applied in practice.
