Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a disorder in which a widespread and chronic imbalance prevails in the individual's sense of identity, relationships, emotions, behaviors and cognitive patterns. A borderline patient is someone who stretches a thin rope as a border to the point of separation between himself and the other and tries to stay balanced on it. What makes him do this is sometimes loneliness, sometimes inner distress and sometimes the feeling of emptiness that the patient directly expresses. An important problem expressed by patients is that they do not understand themselves, what they want and that they are not understood even by those closest to them in life.
With the changing conditions of the modern world, the rate of borderline personality disorder has increased significantly and continues to increase. The purpose of this book is to convey the experiences of individuals on the borderline, which gives borderline personality disorder its "borderline", both with its theoretical roots and daily life counterparts, and to respond to the borderline patient's desire to be understood.
