GUIDANCE SERVICES IN EDUCATION IN THE 21st CENTURY - Developmental Approach

“Guidance Services in Education” book; It has been prepared with the aim of gaining the necessary knowledge and skills about the responsibilities of teachers and teacher candidates who will help students' personal, educational and professional development, regardless of which education level they take part in.
The book is planned as a basic “textbook” for those who follow the teaching program, a “practice handbook” for those who continue the teaching profession, and a “supplementary book” for Psychological Counseling and Guidance personnel and candidates. Accordingly, in the book, target behaviors that can be carried out in all conditions and in any environment and activities suitable for these are included by trying to explain concretely how to help students develop and adapt and realize themselves.
The services that need to be provided in the fields of personal, educational and vocational guidance in order for the student to develop fully in all aspects in the education process are presented with practical examples in pre-school education, primary education and secondary education levels.
