In addition to dealing with music as a branch of art for many years, a curiosity and interest that is constantly alive in my mind led me to research the relationship between music and the brain. In this process, the mysterious and magnificent structure of the brain, its effect on behavior, and the power of music to direct these effects took my curiosity even further. Finally, I did extensive literature reading, realizing that there was so much to learn and explore in the field of neuromusicology, where the art of music and neuroscience intersect. This study has come to life as a result of extensive literature readings that have also fed various projects and publications starting from 2015. I hope that this book, in which I try to present many concepts, paradigms, methods and techniques together with the results of case studies for a newly developing field in our country such as neuromusicology, will be useful to the whole community.
