Childhood Mental Disorders and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies - Focused on DSM-5

The book is a resource that deals with mental disorders in childhood with a DSM-5 focus and explains the general characteristics, etiology, epidemiology and risk factors of these disorders. In the book, cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), which is an evidence-based treatment approach in childhood mental disorders, are outlined for each disorder. While describing clinically described childhood mental disorders and CBTs, it has been mentioned how CBTs for children differ from interventions applied to adults and how the child's family is included in the therapy process. In addition, the effectiveness of CBTs in various disorders has been examined based on important studies in the literature. In this respect, we hope that the book will be a basic reference for both clinicians and mental health students.
