This book, which is an introduction to basic migration issues, made its 5th edition in a short time and became one of the reference works in the field. The Sociology of Migration book aims to focus on the sociological dimensions of migration and its national and international social effects. In the book, firstly, the concepts and theories related to migration are explained, and migration movements are handled with a local to global theme. Internal migration processes in Turkey are evaluated together with the dimensions of urbanization, urbanization and citizenship. Migrations from Turkey to abroad and regular and irregular migrations from abroad to Turkey are examined.
